While our decals are designed to withstand harsh chemicals and oils, it's still best to avoid putting oils on them that could potentially stain the lettering. If oils are able to penetrate the top layer of the decal, some browning may occur, which is not the look you want.
Additionally, tyre shine products can make the decals sticky, which can attract dirt and make it difficult to remove. On a bright white or coloured decal, you want to avoid dirt sticking to it as much as possible.
